WHAT IS A QIP ACCREDITATION?

QIP stands for Quality Innovation Performance. QIP and the Australian Dental Association (ADA) have collaborated to develop private dental practice accreditation. The program has been developed in line with requirements and expectations of the dental profession and the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards (NSQHS). The NSQHS were created and are regulated by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in health care as part of the Australian Health Service Safety and Quality Accreditation (AHSSQA) Scheme. Combined, the NSQHS standards and AHSSQA Scheme were created to provide a reliable requirement of high-quality care and safety across national health services in Australia.
